Welcome to Live Fiction Club. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- "Service": The Live Fiction Club platform and all related features
- "User": Any person who creates an account on Live Fiction Club
- "Subscriber": A User with an active paid subscription
- "Content": Stories, episodes, and other narrative content generated on the platform
- "Vote": A User's selection to influence story direction
2. Service Description
Live Fiction Club is an interactive fiction platform where:
- Stories progress based on collective user votes
- Content is generated using artificial intelligence
- New episodes are published on a regular schedule
- Subscribers can participate in voting and access exclusive content
3. Account Registration
3.1 Requirements
- You must be at least 16 years old
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- One account per person
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access at contact@livefiction.club.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Subscription Tiers
We offer different subscription levels with varying features. Current pricing and features are available on our pricing page.
4.2 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
- Payment is processed securely via Stripe
- Prices include applicable VAT for Belgian and EU customers
- Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled
4.3 Right of Withdrawal
Digital Content Exception: By subscribing and accessing digital content immediately, you expressly consent to waive your 14-day right of withdrawal as provided by Article VI.53, 13° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
If you have not yet accessed any content, you may cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
4.4 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds for unused time
- Your voting history and account data remain until you request deletion
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials
- Attempt to manipulate votes or circumvent voting limits
- Use automated systems to access the service
- Interfere with the service's operation
- Reproduce or redistribute our content without authorization
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
All Content on Live Fiction Club is the exclusive property of Advice That srl. This includes:
- Story text, narratives, and podcast episodes
- Character names and descriptions
- Plot elements and story arcs
- Website design and branding
6.2 Your Rights
As a subscriber, you have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Read and enjoy the content
- Share links to public story pages
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content.
6.3 User Contributions
By voting on story directions, you grant Live Fiction Club an irrevocable, worldwide license to use your input to generate and publish content.
7. AI-Assisted Content Creation
Human Creation with AI Assistance: All stories and podcast episodes on Live Fiction Club are created by a human author. AI tools are used to assist with:
- Analyzing and weighing community votes
- Maintaining story consistency (story bible)
- Exploring narrative possibilities
Every piece of content is reviewed, refined, and explicitly approved by our creator before publication. The final creative decisions and podcast narration are entirely human. While we strive for quality and consistency, the interactive nature of our platform means stories may take unexpected directions based on community votes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law:
- Live Fiction Club is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
- We are not responsible for service interruptions or data loss
These limitations do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Belgian law.
9. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features at any time
- Change subscription prices (with 30 days notice)
- Update these terms (material changes notified by email)
10. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Abuse the service or other users
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for data retention details.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Amicable Resolution
For any dispute, please first contact us at contact@livefiction.club. We will try to resolve your concern within 30 days.
11.2 Online Dispute Resolution
EU consumers can use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
11.3 Applicable Law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Brussels, Belgium, without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
